Now jilted spouses have a new weapon at their disposal – sophisticated spying apps. These apps allow them to monitor their spouse’s activity on certain dating sites like Tinder where public information is revealed.

Of course to do this you have to know their exact sign up details and where they are using Tinder. The scanner will then check for profiles matching that description in the locations given. This doesn’t work where they are using a false name a nickname or other details to foil such checks. It also doesn’t work for anonymous site such as Ashley Madison where all information is kept private.

Incredibly, these new apps allow the user to check text messages, profiles that have been created, visit times and even “swiping” history. Some of these apps require mutual consent – e.g mcouple. With Mcouple, both people agree to let the other see their online activity. Others are more clandestine. They are basically spy ware and are installed on a spouse’s mobile without them knowing. In some cases using such software may be illegal and could land you in serious trouble.

Dating apps have become a part of everyday life for many of us. When couples do meet online though, and especially through dating apps the problem of jealousy can be tricky to deal with. Dating apps can be highly addictive and many people find it very difficult to break the swiping habit. Even when in a new relationship.
